Who are we?

The Construction Training Fund (CTF) is a small team responsible for administration of a levy on all building and construction works in Western Australia. We use this levy to assist in a skilled workforce by funding training and programs for apprentices, trainees and their employers in the building and construction industry.

Our modern offices are based in Belmont with ample free parking onsite.

Role Description

The Data Intelligence Manager is a newly created role that will be responsible for leading and managing the CTF's Data Intelligence Strategy. The role will focus on data analytics and insights capability of the CTF by leading projects focused on improving organisational, program and product performance.

The role will also investigate the application of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning for analysing and optimising stored data to assist the CTF to make informed decisions.

Selection criteria

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated data intelligence, literacy, and management skills, including use of contemporary data management practices, experience developing systems and managing data sources.
  • Experience using Microsoft products including Dynamics365, WIISE, PowerBI.
  • Demonstrated data analysis, research, conceptual and analytical skills, ability to clarify trends, issues/problems and use intelligence to develop solutions to support strategic goals and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing data projects and programs, including use of project management methodology and tools.
  • Well-developed collaboration, communication, relationship, and people skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.

Desirable

Regulatory knowledge - Familiarity with data privacy regulations (such as PRIS) and a commitment to ensuring compliance in data handling and management.
