The Live Ops Producer role ensures the smooth, ongoing delivery of well-scoped post-launch updates and content.

You'll be responsible for update-to-update planning and risk management, as well as longer term project roadmapping in consultation with other key stakeholders. You will also be key in maintaining a happy and healthy development team

We're looking for someone with post-launch development experience, solid planning skills, and no fear of learning new things.

This is a full-time position. It is also a hybrid Office/WFH position with 2-3 days per week in our Collins St, Melbourne office (or more if you prefer). We are not taking international applications at this time.

About the role:

Reporting to a Senior Producer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Short and long term planning for updates and roadmapping
  • Communicating with and understanding your team's capacity and timelines
  • Providing day-to-day administration for the project; such as meeting notes, facilitating conversations, tracking tasks
  • Managing and maintaining the project's Jira
  • Managing documentation to support the schedule and tasks of the game
  • Modifying or implementing new processes to support the team and ongoing development if needed
  • Supporting team morale and communications 
  • Identifying, resolving or mitigating risks to the project, and communicating risks to key stakeholders
  • Working closely with the Community and Product teams to identify issues and areas of priority
  • Overseeing the scheduling and implementation of live events and new content

About you:

  • Experience with post-launch live service titles (mobile or F2P a definite plus) in a Production role
  • Some knowledge of first party submission and release processes
  • Experience working with QA teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable communicating with people in a variety of different skill areas in everything from data to creative feedback
  • Confidence and discretion in communicating both across departments and with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of scoping and risk management
  • Skills in other areas of game dev are a bonus
