Based in Warragul, this is an education organisation going through an exciting phase of transformation with a new strategic plan in place. This opportunity will start off as a 15-month fixed-term contract for a maternity leave cover, offering flexible working arrangements, home-office set-up and salary packaging as benefits.
Your new role
This is an ER Advisor role, covering end-to-end employer relations advisory and services for various sites. You will manage a wide range of investigations, performance issues, conduct, relationship with union and more. As an ER Advisor, you will also drive continuous improvement of ER policies and procedures, educate key stakeholders on best practices and provide ER reporting to the board and relevant committees.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience as an IR/ER specialist
- Have a valid Driver's Licence for occasional site visits
- Good understanding of local labour laws
