Metroll Tamworth is a leading local manufacturer, supplying metal building products including roofing, cladding, rainwater, structural & fencing products.  We have been supplying products, service & building solutions to the North West, New England & Upper Hunter construction industries for over 30 years.

We are part of a large national network which has over 25 branches spread across Australia.

Due to our recent relocation to much bigger premises, Metroll Tamworth has a position vacant for a Store person.

Organizational & Multitasking Abilities:You have excellent organizational skills & can multitask efficiently, managing various responsibilities.

Team Player & Independent worker:You are capable of working both independently & part of a team.

Computer Competency: You have competent computer skills.

Dispatch & Logistics Experience:Previous experience in stores, dispatch or logistics will be an advantage.

Excellent Communication Skills:You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with customers & team members.

We are looking for a highly motivated, organized store person who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and a can do attitude.  If you enjoy working in a fast paced, team oriented environment this role is for you.

Your responsibilities in this position include:

• Report to our Warehouse Manager.
• Organizing the daily picking & packing of store goods.
• Be the initial contact for customers who come to our site to pick up their orders.
• Have a strong working relationship with our sales & warehouse staff.
• Identify & order stock that is low on hand.

• Previous experience in the building industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Excellent communication & computer skills
• Be customer & solutions oriented.
• Have the ability to work as part of a team
• Have a positive, professional & proactive attitude to work
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Working knowledge of Pronto or Manufacturing software an advantage but not essential.
