Haileybury is seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Carpenter to join our Facilities team at the Berwick campus.
This full-time, ongoing role plays an important part in ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and well-presented for the School community. You will work closely with a dedicated team of skilled professionals, delivering high-quality carpentry and building services, supporting proactive asset management, and responding promptly to maintenance needs across the campus.
Key Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Carpenter, you will:
- Deliver quality carpentry, repairs, refurbishments, and minor building projects, while assisting with campus operations such as furniture moves, event set-ups, and general facility upkeep.
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all work meets safety, legislative, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the Facilities team and broader school community, engaging professionally with staff, students, and contractors to provide responsive and reliable support.
About you
- Trade-qualified Carpenter with required licences, clearances, and commitment to safety.
- Skilled in carpentry, maintenance, and digital systems, with proven reliability and professionalism.
- Strong team player who communicates well and upholds child safety and school values.
