The Firm

  • Sydney CBD-based Plaintiff personal injury law firm.
  • Part-time position, 3-4 days per week, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays are ideal.
  • Paralegal positions available

You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a 2nd to 4th year law student completing a combined degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent academic results, including an ATAR result of 96 or higher and an overall credit - distinction average or higher.
  • Prior legal experience is not essential but is preferable.
  • Has strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal skills are a must-have for this position
  • Has strong organisational skills.
  • Has good accurate typing skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer service experience would be valued but not essential.
  • Has a willingness to learn and has the ability to demonstrate initiative and is enthusiastic.

The work

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting solicitors in their respective fields.
  • Liaising with solicitors, clients, doctors and insurers, drafting correspondence and preparation of statements, court documents, etc.
  • The role includes general office duties such as filing, photocopying, mail, archiving and general administrative tasks.
  • Opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
  • On the job training will be provided to the right candidate.
