CONCRETE PLANT - BATCHER

PRONTO CONCRETE is seeking a Concrete Batcher whose primary focus will involve batching and allocating concrete in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Position available at Hoppers Crossing Vic

• Training provided - applicants who have a genuine desire to learn and possess the ability should apply.

The key responsibilities:

• Meet customer requirements by ensuring quality product delivered
• Accurate batching of orders utilising the Command Batch computer system
• Allocation of trucks ensuring timely concrete deliveries
• Undertake batch plant administration including stock control of raw materials
• General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance
• Follow company systems including working safely

The key skills, experience and attributes:

• Knowledge or experience in computerised batching system is desirable but not essential - training provided
• An ability to multi task and at times work under pressure
• Possess an excellent customer service phone manner
• Current HR driver's licence would be an advantage
• Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• A proven ability to work within a team environment

The nature of our work requires you to work as part of a team and you will need to be flexible with how your hours are worked Monday to Saturday as there will be varying start and finish times.
