About the role

What you'll be doing

  • Assist qualified tradespeople with the installation of solar panels and related electrical components
  • Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks on the job site
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the installation team

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a trade assistant or in a similar labourer role, preferably within the construction or renewable energy industry
  • Strong practical skills and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites as needed
  • A passion for renewable energy and sustainable living
