At Stomble we're an exciting startup looking for a highly experienced Project Manager and Scrum Master to join our team. We are a small startup bootstrapping our way forward with a group of eager engineers and designers already with a high level of ambition to build and deliver our MVP product to the world.
Stomble is building a data analytics infrastructure that is powered by AI to help companies centralize their data and make it more accessible across their organization. Our mission and vision are to use innovative solution to increase economic opportunity for businesses globally.
We're looking for a skilled Project Manager and Scrum Master who has experience in leading a new project from scratch, can help understand the companies needs and has the capability to to motivate team members to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning: Working alongside stakeholders to assess, plan and structure the project.
- Research: Continuous learning and research to build a well thought out product that is responsive, cheap, scalable and, agile.
- Cross-functional teams: Working across multiple teams to accept requirements, discuss progress and challenges and deploy quickly. In addition, assist in your recommendations on ways to build a productive culture and working environment.
- Discover: Work alongside us to define what we need to improve, iterate upon and prepare for upcoming challenges we may face.
Job Requirements:
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand goals, milestones and future plans.
- Build and design a timeline for project success.
- Coach and assist the team to hit milestone.
- Assisting in removing obstacles and resolve technical conflicts.
- Coordinate sprints, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Creating a productive environment where team members feel confident and enjoy working.
- Set a standard of work and culture that matches the companies values and beliefs.
- Can assess team requirements and can assist with future planning.
- Conflict-resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Bring the team together and work as one.
- You understand technical and non-technical requirements.
Technical Requirements:
- Must have an understanding of the data space.
- Knowledgeable in artificial intelligence.
- Understanding of how frontend and backend work.
- Can read and understand technical documentations and provide solutions and recommendations to reach goals and milestones.
- Can communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Has a strong understanding of agile, waterfall and other methodologies.
- Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
The successful candidate will have:
- An intrinsic motivation to continuously learn and fill any gaps in their skills.
- Openness and willingness to think of innovative solutions to solve challenging technical problems.
- Ability to work with a variety of different disciplines and teams by clearly communicating issues, problems and solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to connect the big picture and create an action plan.
- Willingness to help and support wherever required.
Limitations of the position:
- Position is fully remote.
- This role is unpaid due to the company not generating any revenue or raising any funding as yet.
- We are unable to sponsor applicants at this time.
- Must be located in Australia.
