About the Role
We are seeking an experienced trader, and asExecutive Traderlead our grain value-chain growth plan. Results driven grain trading activities include; research & development, risk management contract transactions, market intellect fundamentals, raw material procurement, product sales & marketing, and working collaboratively with our dedicated sales team to skillfully explore sustainable market opportunities that grow KIPG sales revenue profitably.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is a career progression opportunity with a clear pathway to the CEO position.
This is a dynamic role where you will strategically drive market growth, build strong customer relationships and brand recognition to help expand our presence in both established and emerging markets.
What You Will Do
· Develop and implement trading strategies to grow our market share internationally and in turn profitability
· Lead, mentor, and build capability within a dedicated small sales team to increase sales revenues
· Manage product buying and selling activities in line with target markets sales schedules
· Drive sales growth by consolidating existing markets and identifying new market opportunities
· Apply strong marketing expertise to boost customer engagement and brand presence
· Monitor market trends, prepare performance reports, and provide market insights to the CEO and Board
· Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and manage trading risks
· Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, peers, stakeholders, and shareholders alike.
What You Will Bring
· Solid experience in agribusiness trading and sales, grain trading advantageous (but not essential)
· Strong commercial and marketing expertise with a growth results-driven mindset
· Proven leadership skills to motivate teamwork to build a positive creative culture
· Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
· Strategic thinking to analyse markets, create strong customer relationships, and close sustainable sales prospects
· Strength of character to succeed, a results driven approach and having confidence to progress within an inspired business growth path.
