We are currently seeking motivated candidates to join our team in our factory located in Russell Vale, North Wollongong.

About the role

Job tasks and responsibilities

Hours

Offering 5 days work per week 6.30am - 3.00pm with overtime when required. The position is permanent full time subject to a mandatory probation period.

Training

• Experience within a fabrication workshop or manufacturing based role is essential.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to your supervisor you will be required to work autonomously and within a manufacturing team to assist in the fabrication and assembly of components required for construction projects.

Skills and experience

The position offers immediate start working with our fast paced team and would require the successful candidates to possess the following essential qualifications;

Candidates must have valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

Boiler Maker Welder -

• Boilermaker/Welder Trade Certificate
• mild steel & Aluminum welding experience
• Any level of mild steel and aluminium welding experience is acceptable for this role.
• Ability to read plans & mark out your own jobs
• Intermediate level experience in reading plans and marking out jobs is required.
• Forklift license
• Construction Industry White Card
• Construction/manufacturing experience

Trade Assistant -

• Previous Fab shop experience preferred
• fork lift license essential
• Construction industry white card
• ability to follow instructions
• proven ability to use hand and power tools

Desired Qualifications

• Trade certificate

• fork lift ticket

• Drivers license and own transport

Attributes

• Physically fit and enjoy working both indoors and out
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Able to follow directions and instructions from supervisors and managers
• Practical knowledge of WHS
