Gronbek Security are looking for an Apprentice Locksmith to join one of Perth's largest Family-Owned and Operated commercial & Residential Locksmiths. Located in Fremantle and Welshpool, they have been keeping Perth safe for 40 years and continue to experience growth due to their outstanding service and extensive industry experience

We are offering the successful applicant an exciting opportunity to develop skills in general locksmithing, automotive, safes and access control systems.

Your will be provided with training whilst assisting in workshop duties. For the first 3 years you will be required to attend TAFE with the vision of completing Certificate III in locksmithing.

This position will suit someone who is looking for a trade qualification or are simply looking for a change.

To be considered for this position you will have:

• Previous experience in a customer service or retail based role
• Previous experience working in a workshop environment (desirable)
• A valid WA drivers licence
• A confident and courteous manner when dealing with a diverse range of people daily
• Great hand skills, can operate hand tools and power tools
• A strong attention to detail.
• The ability to problem solve and achieve positive outcomes
• Strong team skills and a high level of motivation and drive

You will have a strong work ethic, very hands on person and great with customers who works well in a team environment. Being a leader is an advantage in this role for the future.
