JOB DESCRIPTION

The Award winning Eatons Hill Hotel is looking Food & Beverage Staff for our Functions and Events Team. Experience preferred but not essential. We have varying hours available to assist our team mainly on weekends.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Full availability on weekends is required. Weekday availability not essential but considered.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • High presentation standards.

  • RSA certification with relevant experience, or willingness to obtain.

  • Previous is preferred across different areas of hospitality. Otherwise for the right candidate we can train you.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Provide a high level of food and beverage recommendations based on direction from our Functions Events Manager

  • Keep work areas neat and tidy.

  • Prepare and serve beverages to a high standard.

  • Deliver Food and Beverage to tables as per instructions for client specifics

  • Take drink orders and provide table service according to management direction for events.

  • Ensure food preparation and hygienic handling requirements are met.

  • Maintain current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.

  • Ensure the work environment complies with Workplace Health and Safety legislation.

  • Always deliver excellent customer service

  • Initiative and willingness to learn

  • Be well presented with a fun energetic personality

  • Previous Experience an advantage

  • Good knowledge and understanding of always being hospitable

  • Willingness to learn and listen to direction

  • Good communication skills
