About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a trade background and hands-on experience in powerline and/or civil electrical projects. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, tender submissions, and supporting project planning for a variety of energy infrastructure projects, including estimating for our renewable energy projects, solar and wind farms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical and civil infrastructure projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive pricing.
• Support bid preparation and project budgeting.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine project scopes.
• Ensure all estimating work meets safety and quality standards.

About You

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in estimating within powerline or civil electrical construction.
• Trade-qualified or background in electrical or civil construction.
• Strong understanding of materials, labour, and subcontractor costs.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
