This senior role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a pivotal leadership role in the firm's litigation practice. It is a unique opportunity to lead complex matters, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution
  • Develop litigation strategy and provide high-level legal advice to clients across diverse industries
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Advisory and Restructuring teams on cross-practice matters
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to their professional development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and referral networks
  • Contribute to thought leadership through articles, presentations, and seminars
  • Assist in business development and strategic planning for the litigation practice
  • Practice management including overseeing matter administration, and ensuring individual and team billable targets are met

Skills and Attributes Needed:

  • Minimum 7+ years post-admission experience in commercial litigation
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and lead a team
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to mentoring
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Experience in business development, team leading and/or insolvency litigation will be highly regarded
