About the role

Treg Smiths Autos' is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. This is a full-time role, where you will play a key part in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues
  2. Carrying out scheduled maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
  3. Replacing and repairing faulty parts and components
  4. Keeping accurate records of work completed
  5. Providing excellent customer service and communication

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mechanic in a workshop environment
  3. Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  5. Good communication and customer service skills
  6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  7. Current driver's license and your own tools
