Trainee Bird Control Service Technician

Our client is a well-respected Pest Control company operating in Southeast Queensland for over 50 years. They now have a permanent full-time position for a Pest Control Technician in Birds and Bird proofing. 

The position is predominately around Southeast Queensland (Brisbane based) but could include some interstate work. 

As a Bird Proofing Installer, your responsibilities will include inspecting clients' properties to identify bird infestations, applying necessary treatments and installing bird management systems using the appropriate tools and equipment. 

This position would suit someone who has experience working at heights such as a roofer.

Full training will be provided. 

Responsibilities will include: 

· Inspecting client premises thoroughly for any sign of pests

· Carrying out measures as required to eliminate the pests

· Building rapport with and communicating with clients regarding the eradication and prevention process

· Use of power tools to install hardware and various equipment 



Requirements

To be Considered: 

· Eligible to work full-time in Australia

· Current and valid Australian manual driver's licence

· High-risk licence EWP – preferred but not essential (willing to obtain)

· White Card Construction

· The ability to handle birds

· Comfortable working at heights

· Physically fit and the ability to work autonomously and drive long distances

· High attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targets

· Willing to undergo a national police check
