Your new role:
The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination in the delivery of infection prevention and control services.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering specialist clinical expertise in infection prevention and management to support safe care and service outcomes.
Supporting quality improvement, research, and innovation initiatives to strengthen infection prevention and control practices.
Contributing to the effective coordination of staff, systems, and resources to ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies.
About you:
The successful applicant will be an experienced and motivated nurse who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in infection prevention and management. The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills in infection prevention and control.
Well-developed leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships.
A commitment to professional development, continuous learning, and supporting the development of others.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
