As a Trainer & Assessor for the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) course, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our students. You will play a critical role in shaping the future workforce in the disability support sector, ensuring our students gain the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to excel in their roles.

Requirements:

· Must hold a TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

· Relevant qualification in disability support or a related field with the minimum of a Certificate III in Individual Support

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging training sessions for the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
  • Assess student skills through practical tasks, written work, and workplace observations.
  • Give clear, helpful feedback and support students' learning.
  • Keep student records and assessment documents accurate and up to date.
  • Stay informed about industry trends to keep training content relevant.
  • Work with other trainers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.

Preferred skills and abilities:

  • Recent hands-on experience in the disability/ageing support sector.
  • Proven experience delivering and assessing vocational education and training.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Experience training students who face barriers to education.
