We suggest you enter details here.Daintree Health is a vibrant, private billing, primary health medical centre based in West Wodonga. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced, self-motivated medical receptionist/ administrator to join our healthcare team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team of friendly and hardworking healthcare professionals, delivering exceptional patient services and outcomes. This is a fast-paced role within a busy medical practice and would suit an applicant able to manage multiple tasks with confidence and attention to detail.

We are a multi-disciplinary practice with 6 permanent GPs and allied health professionals. We also pride ourselves on our professional team of nurses managing and operating our chronic disease and preventative care management programs.

Role Description

  • Greeting and interacting with patients either face-to-face and over the phone;
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments;
  • Patient billing and processing of payments;
  • Patient records;
  • General administrative duties;
  • Medicare and other services claims;
  • Banking (as required);
  • Operational Procedures and regular updates; and
  • Participation in the annual Accreditation of the clinic.

Qualifications

  • Experience in medical reception/ administration;
  • Experience in Best Practice software is desirable;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude;
  • Strong personal presentation;
  • Confidentiality in all dealings with patient information;
  • Strong customer service focus;
  • Confidence and energy;
  • Ability to build professional rapport with patients and doctors; and
  • A close working relationship with the Practice Manager.
  • Saturday availability
