About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Plumbing Teacher to deliver engaging, industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training and assessment for Plumbing Certificates II, III & IV and associated qualifications.
  • Develop and evaluate student learning materials and resources.
  • Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate teaching and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in industry consultation, curriculum review, and marketing activities.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
  • Ensure vocational competence and compliance with quality standards.
Skills and Experience Required
  • A relevant Degree, Diploma or Trade Certificate in Plumbing.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or equivalent, including TAEASS502 and TAELLN411).
  • Minimum two years' experience as a qualified plumber with a current plumbing industry commission license.
  • Sound knowledge of related building trades.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and relevant technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in diverse teaching strategies and understanding of AQTF standards.
  • Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, and continuous improvement.
