Fencer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fencer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fencing installation across residential, commercial, or rural projects, with a strong work ethic and high attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of fencing types including timber, colorbond, steel, chain-link, pool, and security fencing
• Accurately measure and mark out fence lines
• Dig post holes and set posts in concrete
• Install fence panels, gates, and hardware with precision
• Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret site plans and drawings
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
• Communicate clearly with team members, site supervisors, and clients
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and deliver effective solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of fencing experience (essential)
• Proven ability to install various types of fencing to a high standard
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Current driver's licence (essential)
• White Card or Construction Induction Card (required)
• Ability to lead or train junior staff is a bonus
• Own tools and transport preferred but not essential
