Based in Kilsyth, Eastern Generators is offering a permanent full-time role to help transport our fleet of generators, re-fuel generators in the field and complete a variety of other odds and ends jobs.

Your New Role

To give you some insight into the job, this is what a typical day might involve:

  • Learn the schedule of deliveries and picks ups the night before
  • Start at the yard in Kilsyth
  • Load and unload the truck
  • Complete the generator run, delivering and picking up various sized generators in our tilt tray
  • Complete the fuel run in the mini tanker, refuelling the many generators we operate at customer's sites
  • In between times; refilling the tanker, cleaning vehicles at our wash station & washing down generators
  • Helping out the other mechanics and electricians in the yard
  • Occasional region or even interstate trips

The Right Person for the Role:

You're hands-on, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You have:

  • A Heavy Rigid License
  • Tilt tray experience
  • A forklift license would be desirable, or we can put you through the course
  • A high attention to detail with paperwork and be physically fit
  • Motivation to get things done, be adaptable and able to solve problems as they arise
  • An easy to get along with personality and work well in a team environment

Your ordinary hours will be from 7:00am-3:30pm Monday to Friday with overtime on top of this
