The Rural Allied Health Western Hub, part of the Allied Health Service Division, is based in Charters Towers and services surrounding rural communities. With the introduction of CT services in May 2025, the unit is expanding its capabilities to deliver high-quality, patient-centred medical imaging services. About your opportunityWe are seeking passionate Radiographers to join our expanding imaging team in Charters Towers. Whether you're an early-career professional ready to grow through the HP3–HP4 Rural Development Pathway, or an experienced clinician ready to step into a Senior HP4 role, we have a place for you. You'll play a key role in delivering CT and x-ray services, supporting rural communities, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.
Requirements- Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology.
- Registration with AHPRA and current annual practising certificate.
- Eligibility for Queensland radiation licence.
- For HP3–HP4: Participation in the Rural Development Pathway and completion of all development activities.
- For HP4: Demonstrated advanced clinical skills in x-ray and CT, with experience in rural/remote settings.
- Ability to travel to other Townsville HHS facilities, including remote locations.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- A probationary period may apply.
