Role Highlights
As Senior Asset Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, planning and delivering the asset integrity program including, development of inspection regimes, annual budgeting, budget and compliance tracking, engagement of delivery services, triage and response to identified emergent conditions/incidents.
In this diverse, hands-on role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Deliver the program of specialist consultant asset integrity inspections for civil and marine assets, and infrastructure, working with consultants and maintenance teams to deliver the program and achieve compliance with the approved and funded program.
Support preparation of summaries of asset condition and defect data for annual State of the Assets reporting.
Work with asset managers, maintainers and other business functions to identify, risk assess, prioritise and initiate treatments for asset defects and condition exceeding the planned degradation required to meet the required Level of Service (LoS).
Review of inspection deliverables to ensure data is captured in corporate systems and of appropriate quality.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You have highly developed stakeholder management skills with proven ability to apply risk-based approaches to defect management and inspection. You also enjoy mentoring, coaching and supporting other engineers within the team and within maintenance and project teams to continuously develop technical capability and maturity.
You'll also bring:
Degree in Engineering discipline, and a minimum 10 years' experience in design or asset management of civil and marine or other relevant infrastructure assets.
Substantial experience in asset integrity engineering, including execution of asset condition assessments and inspections
Experience in the management of contractors and/or consultants, preferably in the execution of maintenance or construction scopes of work in a live operational environment.
