CNC Machinist

EXGROUP is a specialist valve, mechanical and labour hire services company supplying to the Energy & Resources and subsea industry across Australia.

We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist to join our machine shop in Jandakot on a permanent basis.

The machine shop generally works as a jobbing shop with the usual runs being 1-10 of bespoke components, from time to time we run batches up to around parts.

The role:

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with the motivation and ability to self start and take initiative. This role will include, but not be limited to:

· Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture and machine parts.

· Workshop manufacturing using CNC lathes and machining centres.

· Adhering to all site safety and performance requirements.

· Machine components out of all types of steels, alloys, plastics and exotic materials such as C63000, Super Duplex, 630, Stainless Steel.

· Working with clients across oil & gas, subsea, mineral processing, power generation, defence and renewables industries.

· Monday to Friday, 38 hour working week with opportunity for overtime as required.

To be successful for this role, you will have the following:

· Cert III Machining Trade Qualification or equivalent.

· Current driver's license.

· Experience on CNC machines and ability to machine components out of all types of steels, alloys and plastics.

· Experience on manual machines is advantageous.

· Experience using Mazatrol Controls is highly advantageous.

· Knowledge and experience using CADCAM Software preferably ONECNC
