With a strong presence in the Australian market and a reputation for excellence, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced State Manager to lead their NSW operations.

The Role

As State Manager, you will lead the charge in driving growth and establishing market leadership across NSW. This is a high-impact role where you will:

  • Oversee all state operations, including sales, business development, and market engagement, while providing strategic and operational leadership to a team of around 20 — comprising 7 direct reports, including 2 Branch Managers and 5 Sales Representatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Inspire, mentor, and empower a high-performing sales and account management team.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors to identify and maximise business opportunities.
  • Ensure financial, operational, and performance targets are consistently achieved or exceeded.

About You

We're seeking an ambitious leader with:

  • Proven experience in a State Manager, Regional Manager, or senior sales leadership role, with a track record of strategic execution and exceptional people leadership.
  • A background in electronic security, electrical or electronic systems, building technology, ICT, or a related technology field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, motivate, develop, and guide high-performing teams.
  • Consistent track record of success
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to forge and maintain strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities, combined with a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
