Tractor driver/farmhand

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tractor driver/farmhand to join our team. This full-time role is based in Maffra, VIC and will involve operating a range of farm machinery as well as assisting with general farm duties.

What you'll be doing

1. Operating tractors and mixer wagon to feed out to dairy cows.
2. Using spray rig, Deep rippers and cultivators.
3. Performing maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment
4. Assisting with general farm tasks such as fencing and livestock care.
5. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
6. Collaborating with the farm manager and other team members to ensure efficient and effective farm operations

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a tractor driver or farmhand, preferably within the Dairy farming field.
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and maintain a variety of farm equipment
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
4. Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
5. A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
