About the Opportunity

We are looking for Expressions of Interests for upcoming Estimating Team Management roles. Pricing & Estimating is a pivotal role within our organisation and is responsible for the development of pricing estimates for newbuild sales opportunities. These roles involve leadership of the Pricing & Estimating team which provide the vital function of estimating activities for the Austal business.

What's Involved

  • Responsibility for pricing and estimates for Commercial and Defence customers.
  • Management of estimating team.
  • Ensuring estimates and associated documentation are prepared with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assess estimation risks and provide recommendations to the management team.

You'll Need

  • Pricing, Estimating and/or management experience
  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite (MS Excel and Microsoft 365 Sharepoint) and ability to become proficient in use of Pricing and Estimating software 
  • Previous Defence/ Commercial contracting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • When required having the ability to work under pressure and/or to challenging timescales.
