The CSA Mine is located in Cobar NSW and is Australia's highest-grade copper mine.

We are located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines.

Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people including contractors.

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a Commercial & Business Graduate to join our dynamic team at one of Australia's leading copper mines. This is your chance to apply your business acumen in a high-impact industry while gaining hands-on experience in commercial operations, supply chain, financial analysis, and strategic planning.

About the Opportunity:

As part of the Commercial team, you'll work closely with experienced professionals across departments including Procurement, Finance, and Operations. You'll play a critical role in supporting decision-making, analysing cost drivers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and value across the business.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious and curious graduate ready to take on a challenging and rewarding career in mining.

You'll have:

• A recently completed degree (within the past 2 years) in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a general interest in data and reporting

• A can-do attitude, with the willingness to live and work in a regional mining community

You'll gain experience in:

• Commercial analysis and cost control in a mining environment

• Procurement and contract management

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Data analysis and business performance monitoring

Stakeholder engagement with internal teams and external suppliers

Conditions:

This is a 5/2, 4/3 residential only roster.

You will be required to move to Cobar for the duration of your graduate program if you are successful for this position. However paid relocation assistance is provided to assist the successful applicant.

CSA also provides Pool & Gym Reimbursements to our employees and their dependents.

Located an eight-hour drive to Sydney, nine-hour drive to Melbourne, and a quick three-hour drive to Dubbo, Cobar is a fascinating town rich in mining heritage and natural attractions.
