Requirements of the role:
• Proven experience teaching Religious Education (RE) across Stages 4-5 and the ability to teach SOR (2 unit);
• Planning and implementing effective teaching and innovative pedagogical practices;
• Provide a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students;
• Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning;
• Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages preferred however not essential;
• Working collaboratively in a Religious Education Faculty;
• Ability to implement new syllabus;
• Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment;
• Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes;
• Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.
