THE POSITION

We are seeking a qualified Industrial Pharmacist to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, producing, and testing pharmaceutical products, ensuring they comply with regulatory standards and company policies. You will play a key role in maintaining the quality, safety, and efficacy of medications manufactured for public use. This role will report to an Analytical Manager and will become part of the New Production Introduction team.

YOUR ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Developing and formulating pharmaceutical products for commercial production.

· Conducting research into the development, manufacture, stability, and storage of pharmaceutical products.

· Evaluating formulations in collaboration with regulatory and clinical departments.

· Monitoring and improving manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and cost-effectiveness.

· Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and company standards.

· Overseeing quality assurance and quality control testing processes to maintain product integrity.

· Participating in validation activities for new processes, cleaning protocols, and analytical methods.

· Preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.

· Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory affairs, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and production teams, to ensure successful product development and launch.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· A bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry or related field.

· Minimum 3 years' experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial pharmacy environment.

· Strong knowledge of GMP, and FDA guidelines.

· Experience with formulation, validation, and process optimisation.

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.

Core working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
