Earnshaw, formerly Lake Grace Engineering, is a Lake Grace-based fabrication and engineering business specialising in agricultural equipment. Established in 1999, the company designs, manufactures, and repairs machinery such as seed and fertiliser bins, augers, and liquid carts — delivering high-quality solutions to the agricultural industry.

We are seeking an experienced Painter Blaster to join our team in Lake Grace, WA. This role will suit someone who takes pride in surface preparation and finishing quality, enjoys hands-on work, and is open to regional travel or permanent relocation.

PLEASE NOTE: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an Automated Interview as part of the screening process.

What's on Offer:

  • $50 – $60ph – Experience based
  • DIDO from Perth – travel time paid by the hour
  • Accommodation provided
  • Depart Perth – Monday 5:00am
  • Work Monday–Thursday in Lake Grace
  • Finish Friday 2–3pm, return to Perth by 6–7pm
  • Relocation option available to those interested
  • Candidates wishing to stay in town longer (e.g. 2-week-on, 1-week-off) are also welcome.
  • Training and mentoring available for junior applicants with a "can do" attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sandblasting, surface preparation, and industrial painting of agricultural equipment
  • Mixing and applying protective coatings and paints to metal surfaces
  • Performing touch-ups, masking, and finishing work to a high standard
  • Maintaining spray booths, blasting areas, and associated equipment
  • Following safety procedures, quality standards, and environmental guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in industrial or heavy equipment painting/blasting preferred
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Confined Space / Working at Heights tickets – advantageous
  • Willingness to learn – training and mentoring provided for suitable candidates
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
