Acrow Engineering and Construction is a leading provider of smart, integrated construction systems across industrial access throughout Australia.

Acrow are actively recruiting an experienced WA based Scaffold Coordinator (Yard) to be a key part of the scaffolding construction for Project Ceres - Perdaman, in Karratha WA. The scope of work includes Yard Management, Scaffolding, Rope Access and White-Collar roles for the construction period, working a 20:8 roster.

To be considered for this position, you will possess the following:

  • Minimum 5 year's Construction experience as a Scaffold Coordinator, preferably in a Greenfield Construction environment
  • Management of supply operations including the receipt, storage, issuance, traceability, quality assurance and accountability of all company-supplied assets
  • Interface with Engineering and Construction related to material take-offs, requisitions and required on site dates
  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating material resources and yard personnel to complete workpack tasks within Construction timeframes
  • Develop and implement material control processes
  • Leadership and guidance of 4 yardmen and 2 machinery operators (numbers may grow)
  • Lead daily prestart meetings; discuss safety concerns, the wearing of full PPE including the wearing of gloves, KPIs, operational changes, high standard housekeeping requirements etc
  • Ensure all company-supplied materials reach the scaffold yard in line with the schedule (Supplier to Perth - Perth to Karratha)
  • Align all outgoing and incoming materials in Scafpac with Company accounting system Scenario for monthly reporting
  • Liaise with Superintendents and Construction team for lookahead, in line with schedule requirements to ensure material availability
  • Stock control of consumables, scaffolder tooling, working at heights equipment and all associated yard running costs
  • Right to work in Australia
