Our client is a well-established, Melbourne-based infrastructure investor backed by a leading global fund. With a portfolio of significant assets and a mandate to pursue new opportunities, they are focused on both optimising existing investments and assessing major new projects. The Opportunity

This Senior Analyst role is part of the Corporate Finance & Development team, supporting the evaluation of large-scale projects, transactions, and strategic initiatives. The position offers exposure to corporate modelling, commercial analysis, and deal execution, while also contributing to treasury support and broader development activities.

The role is well-suited to professionals seeking to leverage their technical capability while also developing strong commercial and stakeholder engagement skills.

You'll have the opportunity to interact with senior leadership, shareholder representatives, and cross-functional teams, giving you a direct line of sight to strategic decision-making.

  • Required Skills and Experience:
    Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, economics, engineering, or a related discipline (CA/CPA/CFA progression favourably regarded)
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting capital-intensive infrastructure (or related) transactions or investment decisions gained across professional services, advisory, investment or corporate settings
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear insights via PowerPoint
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance fundamentals, including valuation techniques, capital structure (debt & equity), and accounting-driven analysis
  • Proven ability to balance
    quantitative rigour with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, project-based environment
