Graduate Architect

Studio JLA is a boutique architecture and interior design studio specialising in high-end residential single dwellings, with projects ranging from $2M–$15M. Our work spans from contemporary waterfront homes to major alterations and additions.

We are a close-knit and collaborative team based in Gladesville, seeking a talented Graduate Architect who is a 3D visualisation expert with a passion for both architecture and interiors. The role is on a casual/contract basis in our studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Exteriors - develop detailed SketchUp models from surveys and site measures.
• Interiors - produce highly realistic 3D walkthrough videos incorporating lighting, landscaping, interior finishes and furniture selections
• Assist in Schematic Design (SD) and Development Application (DA) documentation
• Collaborate closely with the Studio Director and team across multiple projects.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong proven experience 3D modelling in SketchUp
• Strong proficiency in Enscape for realistic 3D rendering and visualisation
• Experience drawing in Vectorworks (preferred but not essential)
• Proven 2+ years' experience in high end residential architecture within Australia
• Working knowledge of BCA, LEP and other Australian Council standards
