As we continue to grow, we are eager to welcome a new Flooring Specialist/Project Coordinator to our knowledgeable team. This is a critical role that is instrumental in sustaining our industry-leading standards of excellence.

This role is designed for an individual who is skilled in both the practical and administrative aspects of flooring. This role is focused on project coordination and the delivery of excellent customer service, offering a different working environment than traditional sales.

Responsibilities:

On-Site Assessment:

· Travel to various job sites to conduct thorough evaluations of jobsites.

· Accurately measure flooring areas.

· Assess the type of flooring involved and determine the best options.

· Interact with site managers and installers.

Project Coordination:

· Liaise with builders to provide detailed assessments and cost estimates.

· Coordinate with flooring installation teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.

· Oversee the ordering and delivery of necessary flooring materials.

· Manage scheduling of installations, keeping all parties informed.

· Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Sales and Customer Service:

· Assist clientele, providing expert advice on carpet, vinyl, and access flooring.

· Demonstrate a strong product knowledge of various types of flooring materials and their applications.

· Prepare and present quotes and proposals for flooring solutions.

· Follow up with potential leads and maintain relationships with repeat customers.

Requirements:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites

· Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software for efficient management of work

· Strong emphasis on efficiency and accuracy in all computer-based tasks

· Previous experience in flooring, ideally with carpet, vinyl highly regarded

· Forklift ticket or willing to learn
