Customer Service Officer (Records) – Job Share

The Shire of Waroona, nestled in the picturesque Peel Region, offers residents a desirable small-town country lifestyle nested between the scenic forests of the Darling Scarp and the fishing-friendly beaches of the Indian Ocean. Conveniently located between Mandurah and Bunbury, Waroona provides the best of regional living with easy access to major urban centres.

We're looking for a detail-orientated and customer-focused individual who takes pride in maintaining accuracy and efficiency. As our new Customer Service Officer (Records), you'll play an important role in supporting our community and keeping our records in top shape working from our newly renovated Administration Office. You will join our friendly customer service team handling customer enquiries with warmth and professionalism by providing assistance across a range of Shire services in addition to maintaining our corporate records and document systems.

Working Thursday and Friday, this job-share role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and values accuracy, communication, and community connection. You'll share the role with an experienced officer who will provide on-the-job training and mentoring when you start, making it a welcoming and well-supported position within our team. As part of the job-share arrangement, the successful applicant will enter into a job-share arrangement, which includes a commitment to provide relief for their teammate during periods of planned leave to ensure smooth service continuity.

Work type: Job-share 2 days per week

Salary: Local Government Officers (WA) Award 2021 Level 3 + OA
