Quarantine Washpad Operator

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Quarantine Washpad Operator to join our team on a full time basis at our Brisbane facility. This hands-on role is essential to supporting our operations by ensuring all vehicles, machinery, and equipment are cleaned to meet strict quarantine and biosecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Washing and sanitising vehicles, machinery, and equipment in line with quarantine protocols
• Using high-pressure washers and other cleaning equipment
• Ensuring compliance with biosecurity and safety procedures
• Inspecting cleaned items for compliance before release
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the wash bay area
• Reporting any issues or biosecurity risks to the supervisor
• Other general cargo operations

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a wash bay, quarantine, or similar (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and follow strict procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Current driver's licence (mandatory with manual preferred)
• Willingness to undergo quarantine/biosecurity training
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays if required
• Forklift licence is beneficial but not essential
• An ability to obtain a Dept of Defence security clearance if required
