Edwards Group manufactures and supplies prepared culture media, laboratory equipment and related consumables to the Medical and Industrial market sectors.
Due to the size of the company, there could be times when the successful applicant will be required to fill in for other job roles, depending on staff availability. To facilitate this, it is very important that the candidate has a good team spirit and the ability to work with others.
We are looking for a diligent Customer Service Representative that thrives in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and growth objectives.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Summary
The customer service position is the interface between our organisation and our clients. This person will be responsible for processing orders, handling customer enquiries, data entry, answering incoming phone calls, filing of documentation and managing email inbox.
Primary responsibilities
The greater proportion of your time will be spent:
- Fielding calls and emails direct from clients
- Processing orders
- Managing email inbox which includes responding to customer enquiries, resolving any issues that may arise and delegating communication to the correct recipient.
- Filing documentation
Skills and experience
Successful applicants will have;
- Confident telephone manner
- Experience working with MYOB Exo – not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Problem solving skills
