Lead Cyber Advisor

  • 12 months contract, excellent extension options
  • Location – ACT
  • Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance

Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Advisor for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is a 12 months initial contract with 2 x 12 months extensions further based on funding and approval.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • 5 years' experience conducting security risk assessments of systems and applications within a Governance Risk and Compliance role. 
  • Liaising with non-technical and technical stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues, system risks and recommendations.
  • Reviewing and providing guidance on application and system designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
  • Conducting security risk assessments covering Azure Cloud, Legacy ICT systems and applications within a Governance Risk and Compliance role.
  • Conducting Risk Assessments on Software – SaaS and desktop, ensuring that vendors adhere to the relevant PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight controls.

Essential Criteria: 

  • 5 years' experience conducting security risk assessments covering Azure Cloud, Legacy ICT systems and applications within a Governance Risk and Compliance role.
  • Experience in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
  • Presenting risk assessments and findings to senior executive audience.

Clearance: Australian Citizens with NV1 clearance
