We're on the lookout for a confident and reliable team member to join us at Alfa Bakehouse Yarraville. The role is front of house with a strong focus on our sandwich bar – making sandwiches, wraps, focaccias, salads, and toasting pre-mades. You'll also be taking orders, running food, and keeping the energy upbeat in our busy, community-driven café.

If you have coffee-making experience, that's a big plus – though not essential.

What We're Looking For

  • Mature-aged (27–55 preferred)
  • Confident, outgoing, and customer-focused (or at least able to put on the smile when on shift)
  • Previous hospitality experience, ideally in fast-paced cafés or food service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and ready to jump in where needed

Opportunities for Growth

For the right person, there's the option to step into a managerial role in the future. This would involve rostering, stock ordering, and comes with more responsibility – and more pay. But if you'd rather keep things stress-free on the floor, that's completely fine too.
