Calm Minds Clinic is an established holistic healthcare clinic committed to building a dynamic team of allied health professionals.

Role Description:

This is a contract role for a Psychologist. The Psychologist will be responsible for providing therapy and counseling services to clients, conducting psychological assessments, and developing treatment plans. This is a hybrid role, with work being performed at home and on-site at our clinic in Geelong.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ability to conduct psychological assessments - in particular for autism and ADHD
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Knowledge of best-practice interventions
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Minimum one year experience with demonstrated knowledge of evidenced based practices
  • Generally Registered Psychologist (AHPRA registered)
  • If you are a General Registered Psychologist, it is desirable that you hold a Medicare Provider Number (though, support can be given to attain this).

About You:

  • Experience working with NDIS clients is highly desirable
  • A desire to or interest in completing assessments, for example, autism and ADHD assessments
  • Experience working with clients across the lifespan who present with various presentations
  • Ability to work independently and able to commit to the clients referred to you by Calm Minds Clinic
  • Own ABN (or have willingness to obtain one)
  • Own computer/ laptop to engage with clients who prefer to be seen via Telehealth (must also have stable internet connection and a private workspace whilst working from home).

Other Requirements:

  • Current Police check
  • Current Working with Children (WWC) check
