Job Description

We are looking for a Splunk Lead position to help with the design, development, and support of Splunk Infrastructure & applications.

This role will join Cognitive & Robotics (Automation Development Centre) team under EAF (Enterprise Automation Fabrics) Business unit that is responsible for managing the global Tools Splunk infrastructure. This is a strategic position and will be instrumental in the design, implementation, support, performance, and integrity of the Splunk ecosystem. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders and global partners. This is a multi-disciplinary role that will interact directly with developers and different functional IT, Security and Engineering teams to gather requirements, architect solutions and ensure the Splunk platform is leveraged as a key data collection.

Should have 5+ experience :-

  • Should have experience working on Splunk administration /development.
  • Should have knowledge on APM/Monitoring tools like Zabbix, Centrion, etc.
  • Should have knowledge on managing Splunk On Premises Core infra
  • Should have experience with Splunk App and addon, installation & upgrades.
  • Should have experience with Splunk Knowledge Object Management.
  • Should have experience with the Splunk search language (SPL).
  • Should have experience in administering and maintaining Linux operating systems.
  • Should have experience with premium Splunk apps IT service Intelligence.
  • Should have system integration experience using web services (SOAP, REST, JSON).
  • Experience with UNIX shell scripting or Python.Experience using the CLI or API to administer configuration changes or maintenance tasks.
  • Good understanding and background in TCP/IP, IT security, and single sign-on technologies.
  • Should help team to design Splunk & help to deploy Splunk in new setup.
  • Should have knowledge on Data Onboarding/Splunk architecture.
  • Should have knowledge on Dashboards / reportShould have experience on all 3rd Party integration of Splunk with different monitoring tools & 3rd Party ITSM tools.
  • Should have knowledge in Splunk AIOPS Machine Learning feature like Adaptive threshold, Anomaly detection, Predictive analytics & Event Correlation.

  • Effective documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills able to collaborate within the immediate team as well as with other groups in organization & customer.
  • Working experience in a global support model with 24*7 functionalities.
