About the position
Our Wests Nelson Bay site is currently seeking casual Scullery Attendant to join our Catering team. This opportunity is key to our back of house food outlets and catering operations across the site. Duties will include:
Cleaning of all soiled crockery, cutlery and equipment
Clear and clean tables when required
Cleaning of work areas
Assist with the set-up of service
Sweep and clean floors
Ensure appropriate disposal of waste
This position will require availability to work most Friday and Saturday nights, as well as a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts during the week. Our seasonal peaks run through summer, public holiday and school holiday periods, availability during these times is essential.
As part of The Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role. This includes, but is not limited to, a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification via our company portal. About you
You are someone who can work under pressure while at all times ensuring that our current high standards are met. Previous experience in a similar position, or the likes of Fast Food Chains is desirable. Along with a good work ethic, you will be a team player who thrives in a fast paced work environment.
