About the Role:
We're seeking a dedicated Wardsperson to join our highly skilled operations team. In this essential, hands-on role, you'll play a key part in the safe and efficient running of the hospital by supporting patients, clinical staff and the wider care team.

In this role, you'll:
- Safely transport patients between wards, theatres and departments.
- Assist with patient hygiene and contribute to a clean, safe environment.
- Move equipment and supplies across departments as needed.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with urgency and professionalism.
- Follow proactive practices to improve patient experiences and care delivery.
- Full training and ongoing support will be provided, so you'll feel confident and capable from day one.
About You
You're responsible, proactive and take pride in doing the job well. You communicate clearly and respectfully, work well in a team, and bring a calm, professional presence to everything you do.
You must have:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients, families and staff.
- Reliability and trustworthiness - you show up and follow through.
- Integrity, respect and professionalism in your daily work.
- Availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster.
