Factory Labourer/Sandblaster

The successful applicant will also be trained in all aspects of the business, including quality control, insurance, packing, preparation, and dipping.

Qualifications & experience

  • Previous experience as a Factory Labourer/Sandblaster or in a similar role is preferred.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards
  • Demonstrated competency in operating sandblasting equipment and other manufacturing tools
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal components for powder coating.
  • Ensuring precise preparation of aluminium and steel before being powder-coated, unpacking the materials, dipping (entirely crane operated), hanging the materials to prepare for powder coating and packing the materials
  • Support the overall production process by completing a variety of manual labour duties.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and products from production equipment.
  • Carry out general cleaning and maintenance tasks in the factory
  • Maintain equipment and tools in optimal condition
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and organised work environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
