About the role
Graphic Packaging International Australia Converting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Diecutting Operator to join our team in Regents Park, NSW. As a full-time Diecutting Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing processes, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of our high-quality packaging solutions.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
This role offers multiple shift pattern options.
What you'll be doing
- Operate and monitor diecutting machinery to cut and crease cardboard sheets into the desired shapes and designs
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet strict standards
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the diecutting process
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operation
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Diecutting Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
- 1-2 years of diecutting operator experience is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve machinery issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with quality control processes and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
