The Coffs Harbour Fishermen's Co-operative is a proudly local seafood retailer and wholesaler, connecting the community with the freshest catch directly from our 40-strong fishing fleet. From deep-sea trawling to estuary fishing, we support sustainable local seafood and operate as a tight-knit team—one big family, working together across Takeaway, Retail, Receiving, and Admin.
We're currently looking for a Seafood Processor / Warehouse Labourer to join our hardworking team.
About the Role
As part of our seafood operations and warehouse team, you'll play a key role in:
- Handling and processing fresh seafood
- Assisting in general warehouse and floor operations
- Ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Supporting daily logistics and inventory movement
- Working in a hands-on, physical environment
What We're Looking For
We're after someone who is:
- Fit, strong, and not afraid of physical work
- Comfortable working in wet, cold, and hands-on environments
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- Organised, reliable, and able to problem-solve on the fly
- Has basic computer literacy and can work with a range of stakeholders
- Forklift licence
Previous experience in seafood or warehouse roles is an advantage, but not essential.
The Details
- Casual position with regular hours (25–35 hrs/week)
- Work hours range between 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Sunday (rostered)
- $30.35/hour + penalty rates for weekends and public holidays
- On-the-job training provided
- Work with a great local team in a beautiful coastal location
