About the role

eyeSmile Dental & Optical is expanding and is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in Adelaide city. This is a part-time 2-3 days per week position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative healthcare environment, delivering exceptional dental care to our valued patients.

About Our Practice

At eyeSmile Dental & Optical, we believe that exceptional dental care starts with genuine compassion and a commitment to excellence. Located in the heart of Adelaide City, our modern, patient-focused dental practice offers a full range of general, cosmetic, and preventative dental services in a welcoming and family-friendly environment.

Our practice is equipped with Intra-oral cameras, EMS Airflows, and will be installing a CBCT+OPG machine in the coming months. All surgery rooms are equipped with their own xray devices for bitewing and PA, and we are planning to get an intraoral scanner in the near future.

Our team is made up of experienced professionals who are passionate about improving lives—one smile at a time. We treat all our patients like family, and we see patients of all age groups.

Key responsibilities of our Hygienist would include:

  • Performing thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures
  • Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
  • Assisting dentists with examinations and treatments
  • Maintaining detailed patient records and treatment plans
  • Managing and treating our younger patients with appropriate procedures (we see many kids)

What we're looking for

  • Qualified dental hygienist with valid registration and licenses
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a dental hygienist
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Proactive, flexible and able to work collaboratively within a team
  • Valid work visa or Australian work authorisation
